WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood advisory for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday for southern Westchester.
There will be localized minor coastal flooding during the high-tide cycle on coastal locations bordering western Long Island from western Suffolk to Westchester County and Fairfield County in Connecticut, the weather service said.
The forecast for Thursday calls for showers, mainly before 3 p.m., and a high in the upper 50s with new rainfall of about one-quarter of an inch possible.
