Did You Know... Red Fox Diner

Did you know that the movie "Freedomland" featured Elmsford's Red Fox Diner?

A scene in the 2006 film, starring Julianne Moore and Samuel L. Jackson, used the eatery for a scene. The Red Fox Diner is located on Route 9A, on the corner or White Plains Avenue, right off of I-287's exit 2. The diner has been closed for several years.

Moore has recently been spotted not far from Elmsford, in Dobbs Ferry, shooting her new film "The English Teacher," alongside Nathan Lane, Greg Kinnear, Nikki Blonsky and Lily Collins.

The Town of Greenburgh has been home to many independent film, commercial or TV pilot sets.
