Downed Trees Lead To Road Closures In Greenburgh

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Winds between 55 to 60 mph have knocked down numerous trees and power lines across Greenburgh Monday with several streets still remaining closed, police said.

Numerous streets are closed in Greenburgh including Old Army Road at Ardsley Road.

Residents should take note and avoid the following closed streets:

  • Old Army Road in the area of Ardsley Road (large tree down)
  • Edgemont Road / Edgemont Circle (live wires down) large tree down
  • Edgemont Place (tree/wire down)

Harlem Line MTA line is shut down between Crestwood and Mount Kisco stations (trees down).
