A 16-year-old Scarsdale boy was arrested Wednesday for causing $11,000 in property damage to Edgemont High School .
Last Thursday, June 23, at 6:40 a.m., Greenburgh Police were called to 200 White Oak Lane where a school custodian stated that upon opening the school at 6 a.m., he saw a mini-sledge hammer on the gym floor with three broken windows nearby. After surveilling the whole school, the custodian noticed a total of 26 smashed windows.
The Greenburgh Police Juvenile Aid Unit leading the investigation arrested 16-year-old Nicholas Ravazzani of Edgemont on Wednesday as a suspect of the crime. Ravazzani was charged with second degree criminal mischief and was released without bail.
He is due back in Greenburgh Town Court on Friday, July 8 at 9:30 a.m.
