ELMSFORD, N.Y. -- The Elmsford Author's Fund is sponsoring a "Meet the Candidates" Forum for all candidates running for the Elmsford Board of Education on May 15 at 7 p.m. and May 19 at 3 p.m. at Elmsford Village Hall.
Five candidates, including one incumbent, are on the ballot for two open seats on the Elmsford Board of Education with elections set for May 21.
Incumbent Matthew RC Evans is joined by candidates Justin Datino, Tilsa Rodriguez-Gonzalez, Christopher F. Sia and Theodore Thomas.
Board member Josephine Bazan-Bass is not running for another three-year term.
Elmsford residents will also be voting to approve the 2013-2014 school budget which has been proposed at $31,343,135 up from the 2012-13 budget of $30,286,846 at an increase of 3.49 percent.
