GREENBURGH, N.Y. - Tuesday was a special day not just for the romantic at heart, but also for Greenburgh Supervisor Paul Feiner.
Feiner celebrated his 56th birthday at Greenburgh Town Hall with staff and board members in between a work session and special voting meeting with a cake.
A blushing Feiner was serenaded with the dulcet tones of Happy Birthday and managed to dig deep to blow out the lone candle positioned in his honor.
Feiner, who noted he ran several miles in the morning to allow himself to indulge in a piece of cake, said he had no special plans for his birthday, mentioning only that he was planning to visit his in-laws with his wife next week.
Feiner and Cortlandt Supervisor Linda Puglisi have the distinction of currently being the longest serving supervisors in Westchester, both having been elected in 1991.
