GREENBURGH, N.Y. - The Hartsdale Paid Firefighter's Association is giving out free smoke/carbon monoxide detectors to residents of Hartsdale from today through Saturday at the Hartsdale Fire Station #2, located at 300 West Hartsdale Ave.
The association is conducting the free giveaway as part of a public awareness campaign to alert residents of the urgency to have the combination detectors at home. Firefighters will also be available to assist residents with suggested placement and installation of the detectors.
Residents should bring some proof of their address when picking up the detectors.
