The search for a new superintendent began at a Board of Education meeting on March 10. The board approved a contract with School Leadership LLC to assist it in the search.

To begin the process, the board has asked its consultants to meet with a variety of community and staff groups and individuals to solicit their input on the specifications the board should use in its search.

Wednesday's meeting will be held at the following sites so residents can attend the most convenient one:

  • Woodlands High School cafeteria, 475 W. Hartsdale Avenue, Hartsdale.
  • Theodore Young Community Center, 32 Manhattan Ave., White Plains.

Residents who are unable to attend this meeting can provide input by responding to an online survey by Friday, April 17. The survey can be found on the school district website at www.greenburghcsd.org.
