Greenburgh Nature Center Celebrates Holidays With Turkey Scavenger Hunt

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Get in the Thanksgiving spirit at Greenburgh Nature Center's traditional "turkey token" hunt along a woodland trail that ends with a visit to the Nature Center's domestic turkeys on Sunday, Nov. 16.

After the walk, there will be snacks and craft activities for all ages, a story about a turkey and participants can visit the Nature Center’s Live Animal Museum, which is home to many small mammals, reptiles, amphibians and birds.

Program is ideal for children ages 6 and under.

Member tickets are $6 per person, non-member tickets are $9 per person. Children under 2 years of age are free.
