  • Police Officer Sean Freeman used a department-issued tourniquet to save a woman’s life this week.  Greenburgh police officers responded to a call Monday, Oct. 27, regarding a 50-year-old woman bleeding heavily from a dislodged dialysis shunt.
  • Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones recently closed on the purchase of a new home in the estate area of Bedford, Daily Voice has confirmed.
  • New York State Police charged a Scarsdale man with driving while intoxicated on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh on Friday, Oct. 24, officials said.
  • A Yonkers woman was charged with grand larceny on Oct. 24 after she admitted to police that she stole a wallet at a pizzeria in Hartsdale but that the child seen in video surveillance was not part of the theft, according to the Greenburgh Police Department.
