GREENBURGH, N.Y. The Greenburgh police responded to a noise complaint on Seely Place and broke up a party full of underage drinkers.
Officers from Greenburgh polices drug and alcohol task force gave summonses for possession of alcohol to 24 minors after finding them with open beer in the garage of a private home at 60 Seely Place, police said.
Upon arrival, the officers observed a large group of teenagers entering and leaving an open garage attached to the house, police said. The officers found many of them inside the garage, as well as open beer cans, police said.
The 24 youths were released on the spot to the custody of their parents or guardians and will have to appear in court this month, police said.
The investigation continues.
