Greenburgh Police Make Arrest in Bookstore Robbery

GREENBURGH, N.Y. – Greenburgh Police said a Bronx man was in connection with the robbery of computer equipment Wednesday at a 297 Knollwood Road business.

Greenburgh detectives charged Ulises Huertas, 19, with robbery in the second degree, a class A felony. Huertas, who has one prior violent felony conviction, was being held pending arraignment in Greenburgh Town Court, according to police.

Police said Huertas was one of two masked men who entered Prime Fulfillment, where he is a former employee, on Feb. 23 at 7 p.m.

An employee suffered a cut to his forehead when he attempted to flee the store but ran into the door after it was slammed shut by the men, police reports said.

Police did not indicate if they were actively looking for the second man who was wearing a ski mask.
