GREENBURGH, N.Y. --  The Greenburgh Police department is reminding residents that the current phone numbers for the Police Department and Town Court will be changing, effective Monday.

A list of all department extensions has been published on the Town of Greenburgh website.

The new main 24/7 telephone number for the Police Department will be 914-989-1700. The new main telephone number for the Town Court will be 914-989-1850.

In order to ensure a smooth transition to the new system and provide assurance that emergency callers will be able to contact police without issue, a call-forwarding process has been established. The call-forwarding measure will provide callers with the ability to use both the new and old telephone numbers to contact police headquarters during this transition.

Residents are asked to call 911 in the event of an emergency.
