Greenburgh Public Works Picks Up Christmas Trees

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- The Greenburgh Public Works Department will start picking up Christmas trees this week.

According to Richard Fon, deputy commissioner of public works, the crews look for the trees during the regular pickup. Then they go back with a packer that collects just organic waste.
