GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Greenburgh officials are taking steps to make a dangerous street safer for pedestrians and drivers alike, according to News 12.
The Town Board recently voted to lower the speed limit on East Hartsdale Avenue to 25 mph from 30 mph, News 12 reported.
A woman was killed on the street while walking her dog in 2008, and another woman was critically injured doing the same thing in 2014, according to the News 12 report.
The new signs should be installed within days, Supervisor Paul Feiner said, according to the report.
