GREENBURGH, N.Y. – Students who attend the Greenburgh school district will have the opportunity to work with architects and engineers through the ACE mentoring program.
The school district is looking for architects and engineers to mentor students. The ACE Mentor Program is a not-for-profit organization that helps prepare high school students for careers in design and construction through mentoring by industry professionals.
Since 1995, the program has grown to 8,000 students and 2,500 mentors in 200 cities and 40 states. Over 900 students have registered for the 2013-2014 program season in New York alone.
Scholarships are awarded to top students at a luncheon in May.
