Members of the Pelham Fire Department and Police Department were dispatched near the intersection of Pelhamdale Avenue and the northbound lanes of the Hutchinson River Parkway at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, following reports of a motor vehicle crash that left at least one with injuries.

Upon arrival at the scene, first responders reported that they found a mid-sized Honda on top of the guardrail near the entrance to the parkway, leaking fluids into the roadway. Police closed the area for approximately 45 minutes as they cleaned up the scene, the fluids and removed the vehicle.

The driver of the Honda was transported to a local hospital for evaluation, and the car was towed away. The driver’s condition was not immediately available on Monday afternoon.
