Saying it didn't make sense to open in the middle of winter, the Thruway Authority Executive Director Robert Megna said the opening of the first span has been pushed back from this December, until at least spring or summer of 2017, reported lohud.com.
Durng a meeting earlier this week, Megna insisted that the $4 billion replacement project will finish on time in 2018, said lohud.com.
