Numerous Morning Accidents Reported On Slick Area Roadways

The storm system passing through the area Friday morning has resulted in school delays and closures and slick conditions on roadways during the morning commute.

An 8 a.m. accident on the northbound Sprain Brook State Parkway approaching the Taconic State Parkway took out the right lane.

Farther north on the Taconic, a 7:45 a.m. crash caused delays southbound at Route 202 in Yorktown.

An accident with property damage took out the right lane of northbound I-684 northbound at Exit 4 (Route 172) in Bedford. It was reported at 7:55 a.m.

The right lane of westbound I-84 was blocked west of I-84 following a 7:45 a.m. accident.

An accident on the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway, reported at 8:05 a.m., caused delays north of I-287.
