Police Officer From Westchester Comes To Aid Of Man Involved In Crash

A police officer from Westchester County helped save the life of a motorcycle crash victim on the Garden State Parkway in New Jersey who suffered leg injuries.

Mount Pleasant Police Officer Joseph Aufiero was traveling northbound near midnight on the parkway on Sunday, near exit 161 in Paramus when he encountered the crash victim lying in the roadway.

Aufiero, a Westlake High School graduate, assisted at the scene as emergency responders arrived.

The victim reportedly suffered two broken legs.
