Rabid Raccoon Found, Destroyed In Ardsley

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- A rabid raccoon was founded and destroyed Friday afternoon, the Ardsley Police Department reported.

The raccoon was in the area of Beacon Hill Road/American Legion Drive and King Street, police said.

The Ardsley police urges residents to avoid interaction with racoons.
