Restaurant Week Comes to Tarrytown

Not that restaurant-goers need an excuse to dine out on great food, but if you do, Tarrytown and surrounding towns are the place and Hudson Valley Restaurant Week—March 18-31—is the time (however it would behoove you to make your reservations well in advance).

That’s right, the seventh annual Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is just around the corner. And this year, it’s bigger than ever. “We were just blown away,” says Nancy Gold, a spokeswoman for the event, of the overwhelming interest. “We’re up to 200 participating restaurants in seven counties.”

Participating restaurants in Tarrytown include Bistro Z, Caravela, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Sweet Grass Grill, which regularly features vegetarian and vegan entrees, and Tarry Tavern.

But don’t stop at a single meal. With hundreds of other restaurants participating throughout the state, you’ll be able to eat your fill.

Eat out for lunch ($20.95) or for dinner ($29.95), and remember to tip your server. Tax and beverages are not included in the special price.

The list of participating restaurants in nearby towns reads like a dining guide to New York State: Bistro Rollin (Pelham), Le Jardin du Roi (Chappaqua), Tarry Lodge (Port Chester), Trevi Ristorante (West Harrison), Moderne Barn (Armonk), Bull & Buddha (Poughkeepsie), Bistro Lilly (Goshen) and hundreds more.

Plot your dining course now, and make your reservations.
