TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- A Tarrytown ramp to the Tappan Zee Bridge that has been closed since Dec. 6, is set to be reopened temporarily starting Thursday, Dec. 19, according to a report from LoHud.

The ramp is set to be open until January, according to the report, following traffic slowdowns from the shutdown of the westbound ramp on Route 9.

State officials told LoHud that the closure may not have been the direct cause of the slowdowns but they wanted to help travelers reach their destinations over the holidays.
