The road will be closed for bridge demolition. Weather permitting, the closures will run through April 21.
Northbound closures will take place between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. each day.
Southbound closures will take place between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on weekends and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on weeknights.
Some lanes will be closed during the day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the northbound side and 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the southbound side.
“Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers,” the state said in a statement. “Travelers are also reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.”
