GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Efren Moreano, the 20-year-old Yonkers man accused of drunken driving in a wrong-way crash that killed a New York Police Department detective, has had his case postponed for the second time, according to News 12 Westchester.
Moreano was driving north in the southbound lanes on the Sprain Brook Parkway during February's crash, when his vehicle collided with Paul Duncan's. Moreano was intoxicated and had a 0.11 percent blood alcohol level , according to News 12 Westchester.
Police brought Moreano to the Greenburgh Town Court Friday and he still is being treated for the injuries he sustained from the crash, according to News 12 Westchester.
Moreano's injuries resulted in the last postponement of his case back in March, reported News 12 Westchester.
