TARRYTOWN, N.Y. — There's no reason to leave the Tarrytown area this weekend if you're looking for something to do. Here's a list of weekend events in Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and Irvington.

Friday

Farmers Market: Stone Barns Center's produce, meat and eggs will be on sale from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 630 Bedford Rd., Pocantico Hills.

Film Showing at the Warner Library: “Clone Wars.” 2 p.m.

“The Trip” at the Irvington Town Hall Theater. 8 p.m. Visit www.irvingtontheater.com for ticket information.

Civil War 150th Anniversary Exhibit at the Sleepy Hollow-Tarrytown Historical Society. 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Jacob Odell House at 1 Grove St. in Tarrytown.

Piano Bar at Bistro Z at the Doubletree Hotel in Tarrytown. 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Saturday

“Bill Cunningham New York” at the Irvington Town Hall Theater. 1 p.m. Visit www.irvingtontheater.com for ticket information.

Sleepy Hollow vs. Ossining Varsity Football Game, 1:30 p.m.

“Once Upon a Time: The Stories of the Brothers Grimm and Washington Irving” at the Irvington Historical Society. 1 p.m.

Kayaking: Rent a kayak between noon and 5 p.m. on the Tarrytown Lakes Saturdays and Sundays. Instruction available 9 a.m. to noon by appointment. Call 682-5135 or visit www.KayakHudson.com.

Town Hall Meeting with County Legislator John Nonna at Sleepy Hollow Village Hall. 10 a.m. County Legislator John Nonna will discuss current issues such as the county budget, the housing settlement, flooding and recent legislative activity.

Harvest Festival at Stone Barns. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 630 Bedford Rd., Pocantico Hills.

Tarrytown Farmers Market at Patriot's Park. 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tarrytown Farmers Market in Patriot's Park every Saturday through Thanksgiving draws together farmers and artisan foods producers from around New York State, selling fresh fruit and produce, chicken, eggs, cheese, baked goods and more. The market also features live music, children's activities, plus representatives from a multitude of community groups. It's the place to shop, meet up with your neighbors and find out what's going on in the village.

ESL Training Workshop for Literacy Volunteers of the Tarrytowns at Warner Library: 9 a.m. The Literacy Volunteers of the Tarrytowns will begin a- six-Saturday workshop series to train English as a Foreign Language volunteers.

Sleepy Hollow Lighthouse Tours at Kingsland Point Park. 1 to 3 p.m. Last tour begins at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 adults and $3 children.

Blessing of the Animals at Christ Episcopal Church. 3 p.m. All animals are welcome. Event will be held rain or shine.

Special Lecture: “Once Upon a Time: The Stories of the Brothers Grimm and Washington Irving.” Barnabas Church from 3 to 4 p.m. Followed by guided tour of the exhibit at the Irvington Historical Society.
