Since that time we have tried hard to attract many additional bio tech companies to Greenburgh and, have created two major bio tech corridors in the unincorporated section of Greenburgh, Tarrytown and south of downtown Ardsley.

Greenburgh has become the bio tech capital of the region and is proud of that distinction. Regeneron is one of the major bio tech companies located in the unincorporated Greenburgh section of Tarrytown and has become one of the leading bio tech companies in the world, honored internationally as the best bio tech company to work for in the world. They plan an expansion in Greenburgh this coming year.

Thanks to their efforts and the efforts of other bio tech companies in the Tarrytown section of Greenburgh it has been named by Time Magazine as number 40 in the Time Magazine 100 Most Genius Places In America.

The Tarrytown/Greenburgh bio tech corridor is one of two bio tech centers, the other located south of Ardsley on Saw Mill River Road at the Acorda headquarters. Special thanks to the members of the Greenburgh Town Board and the Planning department for having the vision to encourage bio tech companies to locate in town.
