Village Of Scarsdale Creates Voluntary Curfew For Trick-Or-Treaters

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The Village of Scarsdale has created a voluntary curfew for children who are trick-or-treating.

A voluntary curfew is enacted as follows: children under 11 should be finished trick or treating by 7 p.m.; children 11 or older should complete their trick or treating by 8 p.m.; children 13 years of age or older should be monitored throughout the evening and all trick or treating should be completed by 9 p.m.

The village requests that adult residents accompany their children while trick or treating.
