Crews are still able to do some work during the cold snap like inspections, adjusting mooring lines and occasionally some additional pile driving, News 12 Westchester reported.
Officials anticipated New York's brutal winters when planning the construction and left a two-month window in the timetable to account for weather conditions, News 12 Westchester said.
