According to the report, Rabbi Alfredo Borodowski, 49, of White Plains has been charged with criminal impersonation in the second degree stemming from incident which began on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh in May of this year.
The rabbi is accused of following a 30-year-old female motorist as she drove south on the parkway and stopping behind her when she exited the parkway at Jackson Avenue and stopped at a traffic light.
The report said Borodowski approached the motorist with a police-type badge in hand and angrily banged on the woman's window telling her that she was going to be arrested for driving too slowly.
The woman refused to roll down her window and the rabbi continued to bang on her window this time stating that she would be arrested for reckless driving.
When the traffic light turned green, Borodowski returned to his car and sped off heading back onto the parkway southbound.
The other three incidents occurred in Mamaroneck, White Plains, and Yonkers.
Borodowski was released to his attorney. He is due in Greenburgh Town Court on Aug. 2 to answer the latest allegation.
Earlier this month he apologized for any alarm or discomfort his behavior may have caused, citing bipolar disorder as the reason for his "manic behavior," according to a statement issued by his lawyer.
