WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- It was a Friday morning full of snow for Westchester residents.

Most of the area received around 2 inches of accumulation, with other parts of the region getting as much as 5 inches, causing schools, many of which had initially scheduled delayed openings, to close for the day. A winter weather advisory was extended until noon.

Daily Voice readers sent in their photos of the snow. Have photos to send? E-mail sbarron@dailyvoice.com.
