What's Closed For Presidents Day In Greenburgh

GREENBURGH, N.Y. — Monday, Feb. 18 is Presidents Day. Here's a list of what's open and what's closed in Greenburgh.

  • The Greenburgh Public Library is closed.
  • Greenburgh Town Hall and Elmsford Village Hall are closed. Greenburgh's sanitation pickup will resume on Tuesday.
  • Metro-North will be operating on a Saturday schedule. Hudson Rail Link, the Newburgh-Beacon Ferry and the Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry will not operate.
  • All post offices are closed.
  • Elmsford and Edgemont school districts are both closed. Greenburgh Central 7 School District is open.
  • Most Greenburgh banks will be closed Monday. Check with your local bank before visiting.
  • CVS Pharmacy in the Greenburgh Shopping Center is open.
  • Starbucks, 223 E. Hartsdale Ave., is open.
  • K-Mart in the Crossroads Shopping Center is open.
  • Greenburgh Multiplex Cinemas is open.

This is fine. What might have been better would have been to advertise events celebrating our historic past and the people who made them. How many people even put a flag up today to help celebrate our past and most impressive Presidents? Not many!
