GREENBURH, N.Y. – From a spring egg hunt to college prep courses, here is what’s happening in Greenburgh this weekend.
Friday
- Avenue Q, Irvington Town Hall Theater, 7 p.m.
A hilarious and deeply "felt" show for teens and adults, Presented by Broadway Training Center’s Senior Ensemble . TWinner of the Tony "Triple Crown" for best musical, best score and best book, Avenue Q is part flesh, part felt and packed with heart. This laugh-out-loud musical tells the timeless story of a recent college grad named Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q, where he meets a whacky group of residents who help him finally discover his purpose in life.
Saturday
- Tiny Tots Tales and Tunes, Greenburgh Public Library, 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
All children ages 12 months to 29 months are invited to bring a grown-up to wiggle, jiggle and tap their toes with Greenburgh’s very own Miss Gail. Registration is required. To register please visit the library or call 914-721-8227. Greenburgh Library cardholders only.
- Free College Prep Workshop for High School Juniors, 10:30am – 12:00 p.m.

Sunday
- Spring Celebration and Egg Hunt, Greenburgh Nature Center, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
A day of family fun to celebrate the emergence of spring. Visit the barnyard to meet furry and feathered friends. Follow the herd on an animal parade. Join a naturalist to discover signs of spring from the forest to the pond to the great lawn. Search for eggs in a nature-inspired egg hunt. Egg hunt and other fun activities will run continuously throughout the day. Refreshments available for purchase. If pre-registered by Saturday, March 31, tickets are $5 for members and $10 for non-members. Tickets are $7 for members and $12 for non-members the day of the event.
