Tuesday, April 10

Greenburgh Town Board Work Session: 9:30 a.m. Although no legislative action is usually taken in these legislative meetings, the town board is expected to discuss a resolution accepting the donation of an electric car-charging station, among other things. Greenburgh Town Hall auditorium, 177 Hillside Ave., Greenburgh.

Greenburgh Ethics Board: 6:30 p.m. This board renders advisory opinions, reports and recommendations to the town board, while investigating alleged violations of the town code and facilitating compliance with the code. Greenburgh Town Hall auditorium, 177 Hillside Ave., Greenburgh.

Historic Landmarks Preservation Board: 7 p.m. Lee F. Jackson Conference Room in Greenburgh Town Hall, 177 Hillside Ave., Greenburgh.

Anime Club for Teens & Tweens: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Children in grades six through 12 are welcome to visit the library and watch Anime. No Registration is required. Greenburgh Public Library, 300 Tarrytown Road, Elmsford.

International Adventure Series: 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Classical Indian dance with the Natya Anubhava Academy of Classical Dance. Greenburgh Public Library, 300 Tarrytown Road, Elmsford.

Wednesday, April 11

Greenburgh Town Board: 7:30 p.m. The board is expected to make a decision on gas station zoning along Central Park Avenue, and hear discussion on leaf pick-up and proposed changes to the Finneran Law. Greenburgh Town Hall auditorium, 177 Hillside Ave., Greenburgh.

Teen Talk: Hunger Games Tri-Athlon: 7 p.m. “Winning means fame and fortune. Losing means certain death. The Hunger Games have begun…” All three books by Suzanne Collins will be discussed. A special tribute prize will be raffled off to one lucky winner. Greenburgh Public Library, 300 Tarrytown Road, Elmsford.

The Convivial Book Club: 7 p.m. The club will examine “Into the Beautiful North” by Luis Alberto Urrea. This is a wondrous yarn in the hands spun by a terrific storyteller offering us a big-hearted view of the United States as a foreign country. Greenburgh Public Library, 300 Tarrytown Road, Elmsford.

Thursday, April 12

Conservation Advisory Council: 7 p.m. The board will meet to discuss matters affecting the preservation, development and use of natural and manmade features within the town. Lee F. Jackson Conference Room in Greenburgh Town Hall, 177 Hillside Ave., Greenburgh.

Greenburgh Zoning Board of Appeals: The board is expected to make a decision on the application for a zoning variance at a 201 Healey St. home, among other things. Greenburgh Town Hall auditorium, 177 Hillside Ave., Greenburgh.
