Greenburgh Central 7 Global Gala: 6:30 p.m. The rich cultural diversity of the Greenburgh Central 7 School District will be celebrated with music, performances, art and much more during the districts first Global Gala, bringing together over 30 nationalities. Admission is free. Light refreshments will be served. Woodlands High School is located at 475 West Hartsdale Ave., Hartsdale.

The Curse of Alexander Hamilton with Professor Jack Chambless : 6:15 p.m. 9:30 p.m. The Foundation for Economic Education will be hosting an Evening at FEE event with Professor Jack Chambless of Valencia College. The Curse of Alexander Hamilton will examine the historical evolution of the General Welfare Clause of the U.S. Constitution from the Constitutional Convention to the 1936 Supreme Court decision that fundamentally changed the role of government in the lives of the citizenry. Hamiltons view of the definition of the general welfare along with competing views by other founders and statesmen that followed will be examined in order to provide a historical picture of the intense debate that has been with us since the founding of the nation and still shapes economic policy today. The Foundation for Economic Education is located at 30 S. Broadway, Irvington.
International Adventure Series: Concert by Soroosh: 2 p.m. 3 p.m. Amir Vahab and his ensemble will perform songs selected from the poetry of the great Sufi Masters Rumi, and Yunus Emre as well as folkloric songs from different parts of Iran & Turkey. The Greenburgh Public Library is located at 300 E. Main St., Elmsford.
Edgemont Clean-up : 3:30 p.m. The Edgemont Associations annual Earth Day Clean-Up and barbeque. Crane's Pond is located at the corner of Edgemont Place and Edgemont Road, Edgemont.
Spring Awakening : 2 p.m. Come out of hibernation and join the Greenburgh Nature Center as they celebrate the critters who have been sleeping all winter. While seeing and touching the live animals, youll have a chance to discover the secret world of hibernation and learn a little more about why these animals are so unique. Entrance is $5 for members and $8 for non-members $8 or $25 for the family. The Greenburgh Nature Center is located at 99 Dromore Road, Scarsdale.

Dirt : 11 a.m. Join Naturalist Greg Wecheglaer on a tour of the Greenburgh Nature Centers dirt exhibit. Then follow Greg along the trails for an exploration hike to discover what creatures can be found on the forest floor. Entrance is $5 for members and $8 for non-members $8 or $25 for the family. The Greenburgh Nature Center is located at 99 Dromore Road, Scarsdale.
