Yes there is something important happening: the presumed Thursday June 28 release of the proposed lease with GameOn for the former Frank's Nursery site (now owned by the Town). So important that it was delayed until Town Supervisor Feiner could be away on vacation and thus "out of touch". So important that tomorrow's Work Session has been cancelled; so important that the Wednesday June 27 Town Board Meeting has been cancelled; so important that next week's Work Session has been cancelled.
And so important that for the first time ever, the Town Board doesn't see a need to schedule an official Town Board Meeting until July 25 with none posted on the Town website Meeting Page for August. However the September 12 Meeting and the Meetings beyond do appear.
For that matter, even the assumed July 25 meeting doesn't appear there. Nor did and still doesn't the SECRET Town Board Meeting held Thursday afternoon June 14 in the Jackson Conference Room.
My guess is that the Feiner team is still vacillating between choosing the pill to make themselves smaller or the pill to make themselves larger. However with Big Pharma out of Town, we won't know until he returns.
