What's Open/Closed In Greenburgh On Labor Day

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Here is a list of what is open and closed on Labor Day in Greenburgh.

What's Closed Town Hall will be closed. The Greenburgh Public Library will be closed. The Post Office will be closed. Most banks (call ahead to see if your bank is open) All garbage and recycling normally picked up on Monday will be picked up on Tuesday. Garbage and recycling picked up on Tuesday will be picked up on Wednesday. There will be no bulk garbage pick up this week. What's Open Supermarkets, restaurants, bars, liquor stores and other retail locations are open. However, these places may be operating on a Sunday schedule or special holiday hours. It’s a good idea to call ahead before heading out to any of these establishments. Trains If you’re planning a trip via Metro-North Railroad, extra getaway trains are planned for Friday. The regular weekend schedule will be in effect Saturday and Sunday. Also, the Sunday schedule will be in effect Monday. Check train times on the Metro-North website .
