Agnes C. Fauerbach, 100, Former Ciba-Geigy Employee In Ardsley

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Agnes C. Fauerbach died Jan. 20. She was 100.

Fauerbach was born Aug. 3, 1913, in NYC, to Peter and Mary Kenny Curnyn. She graduated from Evander Child's High School and Hunter College, with a degree in history. She was employed for many years at Ciba-Geigy, then in Ardsley and at The Council for Economic Education in New York City.

Fauerbach is survived by her daughter, Susan (James) Downes of Pound Ridge; son, Kenneth (Ellen Weider) of New York City; daughter-in-law, Ellen of Denver; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Marvin; and son, Michael.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:45 a.m. Jan. 24 at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, 6000 Riverdale Ave., Bronx. Interment at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
