Amelia 'Millie' Rita Clark, 93, Of Bedford Hills

BEDFORD HILLS, N.Y. – Amelia "Millie" Rita Clark, of Bedford Hills and formerly of Elmsford and White Plains, died at home on Thursday, April 2. She was 93.

Clark was born on Feb. 17, 1922, in New York City to Giuseppe and Maria Russo.

She served in the Women's Army Corps during World War II and received the American Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and World War II Victory Medal.

After the war, she worked in the Westchester County District Attorney's Office.

She is survived by three children, Jeffrey Clark of St. Paul, Minn.; Melanie De Nicola and her husband, Mickey of Katonah; and Kevin Clark of San Francisco, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Stephanie De Nicola of Waldwick, N.J., and Andrew Dunkelberger of East London, England.

Clark was predeceased by her husband, Charles William Clark.

Her ashes will be buried with her mother at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, accompanied by a military honor guard ceremony.
