Giordano was born May 7, 1936, to Teresa Scocozza-Giordano and Joseph Giordano. He was a veteran of the army rangers 101st Airborne division and was an operating engineer with local 14-14B for over 55 years.
Giordano is survived by his wife, Karen Granata Giordano; daughter, Lisa Katherine Giordano (John) Notaro; sons, Andrew Joseph Giordano Jr. (Lisa) and John Louis Giordano; three grandchildren; brother, Daniel Jordano; nieces, nephews; cousins; and friends.
Calling hours are Monday, Sept. 9 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., Yonkers. A Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10 at St. John The Baptist Church, Yonkers. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, New Rochelle.
