GREENBURGH, N.Y. – Antonette Colasuonno, a Greenburgh resident for 55 years, died on Friday, March 20. She was 89.
She was born in New York City on Aug. 4, 1925, to Philip and Giulia Savino, eventually going to Bari, Italy where she met her future husband, Donato. They married and returned to New York in 1949.
Colasuonno was a sewing machine operator for an apparel company until retirement.
She was predeceased by her husband
She is survived by four children, Michael (Dorothy), Phil-ip (Josephine), Rose Ann (Tonino), and Dominick (Rene). and her grandchildren, Daniel (Francesca), Antonette (Paul Di Bona), Rosemarie, Giulia (Anthony Marcellino), Michael, Anthony, Daniel, Nicholas and Christian., and great-grandchildren, Valentina, Alessio, Luca, Marco.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Westchester.
