Blanche A. Delaney, 94, Of Hartsdale, Chef At Maria Regina High School

HARTSDALE, N.Y. - Blanche A. Delaney, a longtime Hartsdale resident, died Feb. 13. She was 94.

Delaney was born March 21, 1919, in White Plains, to Frank C. and Mary Sullivan Foxwell. She worked as a chef at Maria Regina H.S. in Hartsdale for 35 years.

Delaney is survived by her son, Dr. Edward L. Delaney Jr, of Trappe, Md.; sister, Marjorie Zern of Buchanan; and a  grandson. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Edward L. Delaney; sons, Robert Delaney and Richard J. Delaney; brothers. Howard and Francis Foxwell; and sister, Florence Foxwell.

Calling hours are Monday, Feb. 17 from 5 to  8:30 p.m. at the McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home Inc., 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (Elmsford), 59 East Main St., Elmsford. Interment at the Mount Calvary Cemetery, 575 Hillside Ave., White Plains.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Delaney's name to Maria Regina High School Scholarship Fund, 500 W. Hartsdale Ave., Hartsdale, NY 10530.
