McCloud was born July 8, 1951, in Louisville, Ga., to Charlie and Idell Sims McCloud. He was in the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam for three years and continuing his service with the National Guard for another 25 years, retiring in 2001.
McCloud attended the Ridgeway Alliance Church in White Plains. He worked for over 30 years as an HVAC Technician.
McCloud is survived by his wife, Emma; children, Heather, Teresa, Tony and Coleman; brother, Freddie; sisters, Sandra, Lillie Ruth and Alice; 10 grandchildren; and a great grandchild. He was predeceased by his parents; and son, Jason.
