Donald W. Seus, 93, Worked For The Village Of Irvington

IRVINGTON, N.Y. - Donald W. Seus of Irvington died Dec. 14. He was 93.

Seus was born to Edna and August Seus. He attended Irvington public schools. He went on to Syracuse University, graduating in 1943. Upon graduation he joined the Army, and was stationed in Scotland. He worked for the Atlantic Mutual Insurance company from 1946 to 1979 and for the Home Insurance Company from 1979 to 1984 as an underwriter. He worked for the village of Irvington as a school crossing guard and parking enforcement official from 1984 to 1988 when he retired.

Seus is survived by his wife, Netta; and children, Thomas (Sheila) in Oreland, Pa., and Audrey Gillespie (Bryan) in Fort Washington, Pa.

Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22 at the Irvington Presbyterian Church, 25 North Broadway, Irvington.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Seus to the Irvington Seniors Center , 29 Bridge St., Irvington, NY 10533 or the Irvington Volunteer Ambulance Corps , 80 Main St., Irvington, NY 10533.
