Dr. William Milton Jackson, 87, Of Greenburgh, Retired Dentist

GREENBURGH, N.Y. – Dr. William Milton Jackson, 87, of Greenburgh, died Thursday, June 11.

He was born May 24, 1928, to Richard and Clarice Jackson of New York City.

Jackson attended Columbia University and City College. He graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1974.

He was a dentist at the Greenburgh Neighborhood Health Center and the Mount Vernon Neighborhood Health Center.

He also had a private practice in White Plains until he retired.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Wright Jackson; one daughter, Melanie Jackson (Marc Walters); one son, William Jackson Jr.; one brother-in-law, Vincent Wells; and two grandchildren.

One sister, Carmen Wells, is deceased.

Visitation will be from 9 - 9:45 a.m., Thursday, at Grace Episcopal Church, 33 Church St., White Plains, followed by funeral services held at the church at 10 a.m.

Interment will follow in the Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla.

A reception at Grace Episcopal Church will immediately follow interment.
