Tsokris was born March 17, 1938, in Buenos Aires, Argentina to John and Theresa Garger. She was a manager at Greenwich Furs for 15 years.
She was a member of The Church of Our Savior in Rye where she belonged to the Philoptochos group.
Tsokris is survived by her son, George J. Tsokris of Mt. Kisco, N.Y.; sisters, Lidia Dawson of Lake Anna, Va., and Irene Steinhauser of Dunellen, Fla.; one granddaughter.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 19, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home Inc., 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains, N.Y. Tuesday. Interment will be Wednesday, March 20, 11 a.m. Fr. Elias G. Villis, will be officiating at Greek Orthodox Church of Our Savior, 2195 Westchester Ave East, Rye, N.Y.
