Frank Joseph Braca, 83, Longtime Greenburgh Resident, Korean War Veteran

GREENBURGH, N.Y. - Frank Joseph Braca of Greenburgh died Jan. 9. He was 83.

Braca was born Jan. 11, 1930, in New Rochelle, and was a longtime resident of Greenburgh. He was a principal and teacher in White Plains. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

Braca is survived by a brother, John M. Braca Sr.; sons, John (Rochelle) Braca and Tom (Jennifer) Braca; stepson, Jeffrey (Diane) Ackerman; three granddaughters; and a step grandson.

A Mass will celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13 at Holy Name Church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
