IRVINGTON, N.Y. - Gloria M. Tassio, a longtime resident of Irvington, died Sept. 27. She was 86.
Tassio was born and raised in Yonkers, to Lawrence Della Rocca and Anna Kalb. She attended Yonkers High School. She worked as an office assistant for Primerica in Greenwich, Conn., until her retirement.
Tassio is survived by her sons, Mark, Stephen and Keith Tassio; six grandchildren; and sister, Margaret O'Mara. She was predeceased by her parents; and former husband, Stephen A. Tassio.
Calling hours are Thursday, Oct. 2, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave., Dobbs Ferry. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Irvington.
