PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – John Michael Nadjadi of Pleasantville died June 25 of cancer. He was 66.
Nadjadi worked as a bus driver for the Byram Hills School District for the last 10 years.
A U.S. Navy veteran, he was also a member of the Ardsley Fire Department for the last 34 years. Nadjadi participated in a local bowling league for many years and previously worked for RSA Corporation in Ardsley and Rockefeller Archive Center in Sleepy Hollow.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah T. Nadjadi; three daughters, Kasey Nadjadi, of Pleasantville and Kelly and Renee, both of Yonkers; as well as two granddaughters.
Visiting hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Beecher Funeral Home in Pleasantville, where funeral services will be held at 8:30 p.m. Burial will be private. A celebration of his life will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Nadjadi residence.
