Rose Kutarnia, 86, Of Irvington, Bookkeeper, Burnham Corporation

IRVINGTON, N.Y. - Rose Kutarnia, a lifelong resident of Irvington, died March 26. She was 86.

Kutarnia was born in Irvington, she was the daughter of Frank and Elvira Dotolo. She worked for the Burnham Corporation in Irvington as a bookkeeper for 25 years.

Kutarnia is survived by her children, Donna Overing, Joyce (Ronald) Lillo and Robert (Holly) Slavin; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brother, Frank (Marie) Dotolo. She was predeceased by her parents; and husbands, Robert Slavin and John Kutarnia.

Calling hours are Friday, March 28 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave., Dobbs Ferry. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29 at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Irvington.
